About Tim

Tim Larson was born and raised in Fargo,North Dakota. He graduated from Vanguard University in Orange County, CA receiving his B.A. in Theatre and a Minor in Film. Tim has studied with the Groundlings School of Improvisation in Los Angeles as well as Trollwood Performing Arts School in North Dakota. 

He has actively been involved in theatre for many years from the technical side to standing center stage in a wide range of roles including Shakespeare's Macbeth, Mr. Mushnic fromLittle Shop of Horrors, and even Fiddler on the Roof's beloved Tevye. Tim has been writing and performing in several improvisational/sketch comedy teams over the years including Donkey Hotey's Improvcicles, Marco Pollo Improv, Market Fresh Produce Sketch Comedy, and The Delivery Boys. 


Tim is also a published playwright and wrote the hit one act play Well Written. Tim starred in a short parody of the movie 300 that was featured as part of the MTV Movie awards called 305, it was an internet sensation earning over 4 million views in 2 weeks, and featured on CNN and VH1’S Best Week Ever. The short was turned into the hit feature length film 305.

 

Most recently Tim can be seen in the standup comedy duo of Brandon & Tim. Which has performed at the world famous Hollywood Improv, The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, The Comedy Store, and comedy clubs all over California. 

He currently is producing/directing a documentary film with his production company Counter Productions which will be hitting film festivals sometime in 2011.
